Courtyard Pool Villa
Along with its charming décor, your Courtyard Pool Villa

Each of the 23 villas is equipped with separate living and
study pavilions, and can house up to three guests, with the
inclusion of an additional bed. With your own 41 sqm
swimming pool and an adjacent outdoor jet-pool, you will
have the option of spending languid afternoons soaking your

Spa Pool Villa
Split over two levels, totalling some 322 sqm, each of the
eight Spa Pool Villas is designed to create the perfect
romantic hideaway. Enjoy a sensuous spa treatment at your
personal outdoor massage area and let our spa therapists
work their magic. Revel in the privacy of an exclusive
outdoor area equipped with the massage beds, loungers and a
dining area with birds-eye view of the idyllic surroundings
of Mayakoba.
Two-Bedroom Estuary / Sunrise Lagoon / Sunset Lagoon Pool
Villa
Covering a living area of 512 sq.m./5,511 sq.ft. each, our
Two-Bedroom Villas are the ultimate in exclusive indulgence.
This villa can house up to four guests and is designed as a
private sanctuary, with exquisite furnishings and verdant
gardens. Dive into your own 51 sq.m./549 sq.ft. azure pool
and enjoy the golden glow of the sunset as you and your
loved ones unwind with a soothing massage. For the perfect
romantic dinner, delight in a private evening under the

Estuary : Located close to the main lobby area, facing the

Sunrise Lagoon: Located close to the main lobby and Saffron

Terrace Residence
Designed for indulgence, the three-bedroom Terrace
Residences are welcoming enclaves infused with motifs
inspired by Pre-Colombian décor, with spacious living,
dining areas and handsomely furnished en-suite bedrooms
spanning over three levels. The sun drenched roof deck
features a full-size infinity pool, replete with deck chairs
and ample loungers on which to laze. Dining options abound;
you can choose to dine in the privacy of your villa or go al
fresco on the balcony overlooking the beautiful lagoon
below.
Three-Bedroom Beach Front Pool Villa
Effortlessly combining Mayan architecture with sleek,
contemporary amenities, the luxurious Beach front
Three-Bedroom Pool Villas offers an expansive living space.
With separate bedrooms with living rooms, it is the perfect
setting for intimate gatherings whilst ensuring privacy and
tranquillity for all.
Spend an afternoon by your own private swimming pool, or
indulge in a massage surrounded by garden greenery,
performed by our trained therapists using indigenous

El Camaleon Golf Course
Opened in 2006, El Camaleon has quickly become one of the
most talked about golf courses in Mexico. Meaning “The
Chameleon”, the course earns its name by weaving through
three distinct ecosystems – jungle, dense mangrove and
stunning, oceanfront stretches of sand.
Add to this the unique limestone canals that interconnect
the resort and you have a course that will be difficult to
forget. Designed using Greg Norman’s “least disturbance”
approach, the care for the environment is evident from the
first hole, where players will navigate over an open cave,
called a “cenote” in the middle of the fairway.
El Camaleón course is Greg Norman’s first Mexican course
design and the first course to ever host the PGA TOUR in
Mexico, annually hosting the Mayakoba Golf Classic, Riviera
Maya – Cancun every February. As well, El Camaleón is only
the second golf course in Mexico to be certified as an
Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, one of the World’s leading
environmental certifications. Audubon’s stringent program
includes environmental planning, wildlife, and habitat
management, water conservation, chemical use reduction, as
well as safety and water quality management.
While each hole shines with its own particular magic, it’s
the par 3s that already are earning the loudest raves. The
7th and 15th holes play right to the edge of the Caribbean
Sea with the sand and the spray punctuating the breeze. In
the distance is one of the world's largest coral reefs and
the island of Cozumel. The 10th is another short hole that
is long on memories. The figure eight green is lined with
drama. A shot too long or to the right drops deep into the
crystal waters of the canal.
While the course is a standout, the surrounding golf
amenities are equally as impressive. The contemporary,
copper-topped clubhouse is a full service facility that
rises above the 18th green. The adjoining practice
facilities are among the best in Mexico and include a
double-ended, 350-yard driving range, a 20,000 sq. ft. short
game area with putting and chipping greens. Professional
golf instruction is also available.

Banyan Tree’s signature restaurant serves contemporary Thai
cuisine. Overlooking the lagoon and the mangroves, the
restaurant’s three pavilions provide an intimate romantic
setting. Dishes featured on our menu are served family style
and prepared with a modern approach, while still preserving
traditional Thai cooking techniques.

Sands
Set at the Mayakoba Beach, alongside the beautiful Caribbean
Sea, this perfect spot offers an a la carte breakfast, cool
drinks, light snacks and freshly barbecued seafood for

ocean breeze while sipping your favorite cocktail and sample
the freshest and finest catches from the sea.

Tamarind
Set in the tranquil surroundings of the Banyan Tree Spa,
dining at Tamarind is an experience not to be missed. Fresh
ingredients, organic products, exotic herbs, roots, spices
and aromatic salts create the distinctive flavors of
Tamarind´s spa cuisine. Our Mediterranean-inspired dishes
have been meticulously designed to tempt and tantalize your
taste buds.

Ixchel
Every couple should experience the romance of Banyan Tree’s
Dinner cruise. Step aboard the “Ixchel – Godess of the
Moon”, Banyan Tree´s unique and traditional dining trajinera.
Against the backdrop of the picturesque Caribbean Sea, you
and your partner will experience the finest cuisine prepared
from one of our culinary hosts, while being entertained by
romantic live music. The evening will be brought to a climax
as the sun sets over your lagoon cruise and dusk paves the
way for a night full of promises.
The Ixchel departs from the main lobby at 5:30pm and dinner
lasts approximately two- and-a-half hours. As there are only
two departures per evening and a great deal of preparation
is required, we ask that you kindly make your reservation as
far in advance as possible. Please allow for a minimum of
five hours prior to cruise time.
La Cava
Our air-conditioned private dining wine cellar is available
for parties of up to 12 guests. Please contact us for your
special dinner event.
