DINING EXPERIENCE |
|
AGO
Marking the tenth anniversary of his landmark Los Angeles
eatery, restaurateur Agostino Sciandri, launches his first
Las Vegas restaurant location along with partner and
legendary Hollywood icon Robert De Niro. AGO’s authentic
Tuscan-style Italian food attracts A-list clientele nightly
and is a widely recognized favorite among dining
enthusiasts. Some signature AGO dishes include Zuppe de
Mare, Parmigiana di Melanzane, Lasagna a la Bolognese and
their Tuscan-style wood fired pizzas. AGO also features
delicious cuts of wood fired prime meats and seafood from
beef rib eye steak to roasted organic salmon. Dessert
selections include classics such as Ricotta Cheesecake,
Tiramisu and Panna Cotta.
Rare 120º | Now Open
Rare 120º takes the stuffy steakhouse of the past and turns
it upside down. Diners will enjoy classic and contemporary
steakhouse cuisine and martinis in a sleek, contemporary
atmosphere accented with gleaming exotic wood finishes and
brushed stainless steel.
The culinary philosophy of Rare 120º is simple: using fresh
and high-quality seasonal ingredients to reinvent classic
steakhouse dishes with a deliciously light, modern twist.
The cutting edge “a la carte” menu allows the customer to
build their ideal steak and choose their sides. Redefined
American steakhouse favorites include such items as the
Chilled Martini Tower, exquisitely displaying an array of
Dungeness crab meat, Pacific prawns, and zesty vodka citron
infused cocktail sauce. Carnivorous selections include items
such as the Argentinean Grass Fed Ribeye and the Tuscan Veal
Chop. With the emphasis on organic and farm raised meats,
the discerning customer will be tastefully reminded of the
restaurant’s philosophy of quality selection. These dishes
and others will be complimented by a full-fledged beverage
program including an innovative martini menu and an
extensive wine list.
Pink Taco
After 12 years of offering a dining experience
beyond the ordinary, Pink Taco celebrated its grand
re-opening with an expanded bar and the launch of its
monthly party “Cinco de Taco” in February 2008. Pink Taco is
popular for putting a California spin on traditional Mexican
dishes. The menu includes the trademark Pink Taco (Panuchos)
with homemade corn tortillas and black beans, topped with
chicken, salsa roja, pickled onions and avocado. For
something lighter, there's the Chicken (or vegetable)
Tostada Salad--a shredded salad with chipotle dressing that
is a Pink Taco favorite. For a sweet finale to a spicy meal,
Pink Taco offers the Tres Leches Cake – fried ice cream and
flan with Mexican caramel.
A mega-hip Mexican cantina, Pink Taco is a folk-art bedecked
hotspot adorned with classic low-rider bicycles, unique
tables that leave guests’ feet dangling and an assortment of
authentic Mexican craftwork that decorate the dining room.
The atmosphere includes music that’s pumped up loud where
nobody is expected to keep their voices down. Dining out on
the patio is an alternative for those looking for a more
quiet setting.
Happy Hour
Pink Taco kicks it up a notch with its weekday Happy Hour
(Monday thru Friday at the bar from 4pm to 7pm) with
specials that include 2-for-1 beers and house margaritas as
well as half-priced appetizers. And Sunday thru Thursday
from 9pm to 11pm enjoy $2 tacos as our featured late night
special.
Mr. Lucky's 24-7
As the name signifies, Mr. Lucky’s 24/7 is open
‘round the clock and offers a traditional style eatery with
a family-friendly atmosphere. The standard diner fare -
burgers, sandwiches, and breakfast items such as the owner’s
favorite, French toast - is first-rate, as are the pizzas
and the specialty Kick Ass BLT Burger. And its not-so secret
specials, such as the Steak and Shrimp (an 8-ounce New York
sirloin steak, three jumbo shrimp, salad, and garlic mashed
potatoes, all for a lucky $7.77) are well worth ordering.
The Red Velvet Cake is also worth the splurge. Inexpensive
as most venues placed in the ‘diner’ category, Mr. Lucky’s
ups the ante with its cool, energized rock ‘n’ roll aura
with décor to match: rock memorabilia, a large Jim Morrison
mural, leopard-print seating, vintage motel signage and wood
floors. Since 2003, Mr. Lucky’s has been recognized as one
of the city’s “Best Late Night Snack” according to the Las
Vegas Weekly Reader’s Choice Poll.
Nobu
Japanese Restaurant Owner and Chef, Nobu Matsuhisa,
is highly recognized for his groundbreaking modern and
authentic Japanese cuisine; the sushi is fresh as is all the
seafood and most entree's will introduce a guest’s taste
buds to delirium. Signature dishes to satisfy any palate
include the Lobster Ceviche infused with citrus flavors that
give guests the reminiscent feel of the tropics; Shrimp and
Main Lobster drizzled with tangy lemon sauce and the
Scallops in Spicy Pepper. Other exotic offerings are the
Assorted Sashimi flavored with garlic, ginger and sesame
seeds, slivers of Red Snapper with chili paste or for the
more adventurous type, the Yellowtail with jalapeno. The
house specialty is a Three-day Marinated Cod seared and
served with sweet miso sauce.
Aside from the fine cuisine found at Nobu, the interior
design features bamboo pillars, wooden birch trees, a black
river rock wall and a seaweed wall, replications of the
décor found in Chef Nobu’s New York restaurant, TriBeCa.
Other impressive details include the burnt ash tabletops to
match the bamboo feature and a black rock at each table
setting to hold chopsticks.
