SHADOW CREEK GOLF:
Guests
staying at The Mirage or any Las Vegas MGM MIRAGE resort are
eligible to play the ultra-exclusive Shadow Creek golf
course. Designed by legendary golf architect Tom Fazio,
Shadow Creek is ranked as one of the top 10 courses in
America. Golfers at Shadow Creek marvel at the course’s
incredible natural beauty, featuring rolling terrain,
sparkling creeks, and mature lush gardens.
The
volcano at The Mirage sets the stage for an explosive array
of experiences, ranging from an endangered animal habitat to
nightly performances by Danny Gans, “Man of Many Voices”.
AQUARIUM AND TROPICAL ATRIUM:
Once
inside The Mirage, guests are enveloped in its tropical
motif. A 20,000-gallon saltwater aquarium behind the front
desk is one of the most elaborate in the world.
Located
just off the lobby, a lush indoor atrium provides an
extraordinary visual experience complete with 60-foot palm
trees, cascading waterfalls, meandering lagoons, and a
stunning palette of flowers.
THE MIRAGE VOLCANO:
A main
attraction on the Las Vegas Strip is the live volcano the
erupts in the front of The Mirage each evening, spewing
smoke and fire 100 feet in the air. Extensive enhancements
will take place in 2005, providing guests with an even more
dynamic and thrilling experience.
AVA LOUNGE:
Indulge in
specialty drinks of the South Pacific are dance the night
away to live music nightly at AVA, a contemporary Polynesian-themed lounge located off the lobby.
DANNY GANS:
Named “Las
Vegas’ Entertainer of the Year” every year since 1998, Danny
Gans fascinates audiences with his remarkable talents as a
singer-comedian-impressionist. With his repertoire of more
than 300 voices, Gans draws capacity crowds to the theater
that bears his name.
At select
times throughout the year, The Mirage is proud to host other

SIEGFRIED
& ROY’S SECRET GARDEN
& DOLPHIN HABITAT:
The Secret
Garden is home to six rare animal breeds, including the
White Lions of Timbaviti and the Siegfried & Roy Royal White
Tigers. The Dolphin Habitat is home to a family of the
Atlantic bottlenose dolphins; watch trainers interact with
the friendly creatures throughout the day.
ROYAL WHITE TIGER HABITAT:
A
separate, specially designed habitat serves as home to
Siegfried & Roy’s Royal White Tigers. Set near the walkway
entrance on the south side of The Mirage, the habitat
affords guests a free glimpse of these beautiful animals in
a unique setting.
MEETING & CONVENTIONS:
The
Mirage’s meeting and convention facilities offer maximum
comfort and flexibility, whether hosting the most intimate
of dinners or the most lavish banquets. The 170,000 square
feet of ground-level meeting, space comprises 27 meeting
rooms, including an executive boardroom with advanced
communications technology. The 90,000-square-foot pillar
less Events Center can create ballrooms of 10,000, 30,000 or
60,000 square feet.
